Alabama

All licenses are valid till October 31st of odd-numbered years. You must finish 3 hours of substance abuse education and 15 hours of continuing education to fulfill the requirements for continuing education.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin Nursing License

Currently, Wisconsin is a part of the Nursing License Compact and grants multistate licenses. However, the nurses who have a license from a non-compact state are eligible for permit reciprocity. It takes about two weeks to get the endorsement and will cost you about $92. NCLEX is a must for every applicant.

The license is valid for 4 years. RNs and LPNs are exempt from the continuing education requirement.

Wyoming

Wyoming Nursing License

Currently, Wyoming is a compact state for nursing and grants its residents multistate licenses. Licensed nurses from non-compact states are eligible for license reciprocity. The whole process may be completed online. The nurses are to provide a valid out-of-state license, and NCLEX exam results and make applicable payments.

The permits are valid for two years, and you must complete 50 practice hours of continuing education to be eligible for renewal.
